My name is Ilia. I was born and raised in Spanish Harlem and now live in the Bronx — and everything I create is rooted in that.

I come from loud block parties, café in the morning, sofrito in the blender, music through open windows, and summers that smelled like fire hydrants and pavement. The kind of memories that don’t leave you.

That’s what sazón + scent is.

Every candle is a feeling I remember, a bodega stop, a holiday drink, or a treat after school. The little things that stayed with me.
